The Backcountry 4x4 Club is an off-road club for the whole family. It is a non-profit and non-competitive organization open to all types of four wheel drive vehicles.

The Backcountry 4x4 Club aims to:

• Safely enjoy the outdoors by exploring trails all over the Province of Nova Scotia
• Promote off-roading as a safe responsible activity.
• Respect the environment and existing trails by following Tread Lightly principles.
• Promote education about map reading, GPS use and other related fields.
